QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. — Winning the first contest on Saturday, Rouyn-Noranda registered their tenth win of the season as the Huskies defeated Quebec for a second time over the weekend this time winning 4-1 against Quebec. Jeremy Lauzon with one goal and one assist was the best players offensively for the home team.

Unable to beat Huskies goaltender Chase Marchand in 11 attempts in the first period Quebec saw their opponent adding a second goal to their lead. A first shot from the blue line by Huskies defenseman Philippe Myers was stopped by Quebec goalie, but a loose puck in the Quebec crease was pushed in by Alexander Sills with 2:14 remaining in opening period.
Quebec score their only goal in the second period, shorthanded situation. With Dmytro Timashov in the penalty box, Olivier Garneau took a rebound shot from veteran Bronson Beaton beating Rouyn-Noranda netminder Marchand with 3:53 remaining in middle frame.
The assist on Quebec goal in the period on Garneau’s goal by veteran center Beaton was an eighth consecutive one adding to his personal record.
Rouyn-Noranda came back in third scoring two more goals, the last one in empty net with less than 2:00 remaining.
Francis Perron gave Rouyn-Noranda a two-goal lead when his shot hit the post before going in beating Quebec goalie Julian Galloway with 8:34 remaining. Jeremy Lauzon completed the score shooting in an empty net with 1:14 left on the clock.
Rouyn-Noranda beat Quebec goalie twice on 12 shots on goal.
Quebec next game will be in Rimouski facing the Oceanic Friday.
