QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. —Totally dominating Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda won over Quebec 7-4. After allowing first goal in the game, the Huskies took control of the game scoring next seven goals leading in third period 7-1, before Quebec came back scoring last three goals in the game, before Rouyn-Norada sealed the win over Quebec. Alex Beaucage with two goals in third periods, and Mathieu Boucher with three assists led Huskies offense on Friday night. 
Taking advantage of their first of three power play opportunities in the opening period, Quebec drew first blood in Rouyn-Noranda on Friday night, their last game before Christmas break.
Authors of last two goals in game the night before in Val-d’Or (second one giving the overtime win) Quebec left winger Olivier Garneau, left no chance to Rouyn-Noranda goaltender Zachary Emond 1:51 into first period completing a perfect pass from teammate Jesse Sutton.
Roun-Noranda tied the game later in first period scoring their first goal in shorthanded situation as they tried to kill penalty for too many men on the ice. Taking advantage of turnover in Quebec defensive following bad decision by defenseman Sam Dunn. Taylor Ford beat Quebec goaltender Dereck Baribeau over right shoulder, with 41 seconds left to Huskies penalty for too many men on the ice.
It was Huskies’ fifth shorthanded goal scored this season. Ford’s goal came at 12:47.
Second period being usually their best period showing a record of 14-1 when they had the lead, Quebec saw their opponent totally dominating the middle frame scoring three times leading 4-1 after forty minutes of play.
Showing an efficiency percentage of 21.9 with 34 goals scored in 155 chances, already been 0-in-1 in the game, the Huskies took the lead for the first time in the game on their second power play opportunities.
Making the first save on Mathieu Boucher first shot, Quebec netminder wasn’t able to do anything on the rebound as Rafael Harvey-Pinard took the rebound scoring Roun-Noranda second goals 3:06 into the second frame.
Quebec goalie didn’t have a chance on the Huskies third goal as Peter Abbandonato redirected a shot from teammate Harvey-Pinard with 11:30 remaining in the middle frame.
Quebec netminder Baribeau seem surprised on Rouyn-Noranda fourth goal as the long shot by Kyle Ward beat the Minnesota netminder prospect signed as free agent over his right shoulder, just as a penalty to teammate Taylor Ford ended.
Scoring three goals in second period, Rouyn-Noranda came back in third period adding three more taking 7-1 lead before seeing their opponent reply with the last three goals in the game but it was too later for the Quebec Remparts.
Huskies began the third periods scoring a second goals with the help of the power play. Taking a loose puck following first save by Quebec netminder on shot by Huskies rookie Tommy Beaudoin, Alex Beaucage scores his first of two goals in third periods with only 2:05 gone. The Huskies came back 1:36 later with their sixth goals in the game. Trying to get out of the zone Quebec center Jeremy Laframboise saw his pass been pick up by Tyler Hinam who saw his shot slowly went under Baribeau left pads at 3:41.
Huskies right winger Beaucage came back scoring his second goals of the game, his second in third periods for Rouyn-Noranda seventh goals in the game at 9:11.
Trailing by six, Quebec came back scoring next three goals. Olivier Mathieu on power play 14:10 on great pass by Jesse Sutton, Luke Kirwan cut Huskies leads to four goals with Quebec third goals in the game after Zachary Emond made first save on defenseman Gabriel Villeneuve first shot on goal at 15:23.
Quebec fourth goal was scored by Captain Matthew Boucher on penalty shot with 2:58 to play in the game.
Quebec will return in action on December 28-2017 facing Tigres in Victoriaville.
Seven other games were on QMJHL schedule on Friday night.
