River Dragons Skewer Sea Wolves PHN's Best Shots of the Game

Columbus, GA – The Columbus River Dragons opened fire on the Mississippi Sea Wolves, claiming victory in regulation, 9-1.

In front of a season-high 7,489 fans in attendance, the Columbus River Dragons held their annual Military Night and put on quite a show for the soldiers and spectators looking on.

Tied at the end of the first period, Justin MacDonald scored at 13:30 in the second frame, the first of 8 unanswered goals for the River Dragons.

By the end of regulation, brothers Kyle and Bryan Moore, Cody Wickline, and Austin Daae produced goals, while Nolan Slachetka, Ryan Hunter, Jestin Somero, Brian Dunford, Scott Docherty, Hugh Anderson, Nathan Balkwill, and Alexander Jmaeff posted assists.

Kyle Moore achieved a hat trick during the contest, concluding his weekend with four goals and five assists.

Bryan Moore posted two goals and an assist.

Justin MacDonald posted 4 points, capping off his weekend with four goals and five assists.

The Columbus River Dragons will play in Athens on Wednesday before returning home for a weekend series with the Blue Ridge Bobcats.

The Mississippi Sea Wolves return home to battle with the Carolina Thunderbirds on Friday and Saturday, and remain home on Sunday to close their weekend series against the Baton Rouge Zydeco.
