Columbus, GA – The Columbus River Dragons completed their weekend series sweep at home against the Biloxi Breakers in regulation Saturday night, 6-2.

Trevor Babin stood between the pipes for Columbus, while Josh Rosenzweig tended for Biloxi.
Alex Storjohann opened things up for the Dragons just 108 seconds in, taking advantage of an early power play opportunity.
Kevin Szabad added to the Dragons lead less than 30 seconds later, followed by a shorthanded goal by Tyler Barrow at 9:54.
Trevor Babin made 12 saves in the midst of several penalty kill scenarios, closing the frame with the Dragons ahead, 3-0.
At the top of the second period, Tyler Barrow scored his second goal of the night just 88 seconds into the frame.
Ryan Hunter extended the Dragons lead over Biloxi at 4:48, before Blake Keller crushed Babin’s hopes for a shutout at 5:00.
The second period closed with Columbus ahead, 5-1.
Khaden Henry scored Biloxi’s second and final goal of the contest at 15:25 in the third period, before Ryan Galvin reclaimed a 4-point lead for Columbus in an even strength scenario at 18:01.
The River Dragons claimed their second victory in regulation this weekend, 6-2.
The River Dragons served twenty penalty minutes during the contest. Kyle Moore committed his second Too Many Men infraction of the weekend, but produced two assists nonetheless.
The Dragons’ Three Stars of the Game were Tyler Barrow, Kevin Szabad, and Trevor Babin.
Barrow produced two goals tonight, marking 4 points this weekend.
Kevin Szabad put up two points tonight as well – a  goal and an assist.
Trevor Babin achieved a 93.1 SV%, saving 27 of 29 SOG.
The River Dragons aim to extend their win streak to 5 games in Biloxi on Wednesday against the Breakers at 8:05 pm.
