“Maybe too many rebound but in general I’m happy because guys blocks lot of shots,” were the first words pronounced by Oceanic veteran goaltender Phillipe Desrosiers.

“The arrival of Louis Philippe Guindon is only positive for me I gave all I got at every game and since his arrival we have great communication,” answered the veteran netminder when he was asked if the arrival of the other goaltender via a trade at the QMJHL trade deadline contribute to motivate him a little bit more.

On the Quebec side, team captain was the first to show to answer questions from reporters.

“I don’t know we just have to block last couple games, tonight we work hard I think we played almost sixty minutes if not sixty minutes bounces is in didn’t goes our way, calls didn’t go our way but we have to keep working and it will come.” Quebec veteran Kurt Etchegary.

“We have got to stay positive I know Val-d’Or was a very poor effort but tonight we’ve work hard, we tried to make things worked just didn’t go our way but we gone to come back tomorrow and work hard and focus on positive things.”

For Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher, his team offense could play better, “Val-d’Or wasn’t our best effort offensively tonight we could have been more dangerous. Desrosiers (Philippe) has been very good we have to give credit to him. The have one of the best defensive with guys like Jan Kostalik and Samuel Morin on blue line and we haven’t been too opportunistic for sure.” The Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher said after the game.  y Duclair played his best game of the season against Rouyn-Noranda last Saturday with 1 goal 3 assists photo by Serge Poulin

“ For sure I would better like our team scores goals and we win the game, what we didn’t had had in Val-d’Or is a sixty minutes of effort. I think the effort was there guys were involve in the game they compete but we still have things to work on for sure.” Admitted the Remparts coach Boucher.

Quebec will return in action on Friday night hosting Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
