QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. —Trounced (10-2) in their last game at home against Drummondville Voltigeurs, Quebec came back with a perfect outing on the road registering a 4-0 win in Victoriaville.
Back from the NHL Carolina Hurricane training camp Quebec goaltender Callum Booth made 34 saves to register his first shutout of the campaign on his first outing in 2016-17; his seventh in his junior career. 
Derek Gentile with three goals in less than seven minutes in third period led visitor offensive.
Quebec opened the scoring, taking advantage of their first power play opportunity, following a penalty to Victoriaville goalie Olivier Tremblay for slashing. Quebec left winger Louis-Philip Cote’s wrist shot surprised Tigres netminder on his left side at 10:18 of the first period.
Back from Carolina Hurricane’s training camp the fourth-round selection in 2015 (93rd) overall Callum Booth was perfect in the opening period blocking all Victoriaville 14 shots he faced. Scoring on their sixth shots on goal the visitor ended with seven shots on Olivier Tremblay.
Successful on their first power play attempt Remparts got their second opportunity with man up as former Remparts and Val-d’Or Foreurs defenseman Vincent Lanoue was found guilty of interference with 51.9 seconds remaining in the initial period.
Scoring their only goal playing with a man up for the first time in the game, Quebec saw their opponents kill the other two power plays opportunity in the middle frame, preventing Quebec to add to their lead.
Quebec was the beneficiary of a penalty shot with 1:42 remaining in second period. Quebec left winger Louis-Philip Cote went on breakaway but Tigres right winger Antoine Lessard prevent Quebec forward to shoot and referee Jonathan Trudel allowed penalty shot to Cote.
Fortunately for Tigres netminder Tremblay made the save against Cote with his blocker, keeping the scores 1-0 after forty minutes of play. Victoriaville dominate in shots on goal department 25-17 (11-10 Tigres in second) but on main scoreboard, the visitor still lead 1-0.
After a scoreless middle frame Quebec adds to their lead as Derek Gentile forgotten in slot beat Victoriaville goalie Tremblay between his pads at 5:34. Dmitry Buynistky kept the puck in Victoriaville zone.
A turnover by Tigres defenseman Pierre-Olivier Demers led to Quebec third goals. Thinking the referee stopped the play, Quebec right winger Gentile stole the puck to Demers, came from behind the net, putting the puck in an empty net for his second goal in less than two minutes in third period.
Gentile came back scoring his third goal of the game in less than seven minutes as his slap shot from the right side beat Tremblay over his left shoulder with 7:30 to play in the third.

Quebec will end his weekend going to Chicoutimi visiting Sagueneens.
