OVECHKIN CLIMBS MORE NHL LISTS WITH 33RD CAREER HAT TRICK, FIRST AT AGE 40
Alex Ovechkin (3-1—4) extended his lead as the NHL’s all-time goals leader with career tallies No. 905, 906 and 907 en route to his 33rd career hat trick and first four-point outing in nearly three years (Dec. 13, 2022). Jagr (4 GP from March 20-25 & Feb. 28 – March 9, 2013) and Dean Prentice (4 GP from Dec. 7-13 & Nov. 25 – Dec. 2, 1972) both achieved the feat with the Stars/North Stars.
