In Boston Monday night, the visiting Florida Panthers continued to struggle but did come away with a loser’s point in a 4-3 loss to the Bruins.
Tuukka Rask made 27 saves to help Boston grab the extra point.
David Pastrnak scored two goals for Boston including the game-winner with 1:23 gone in the extra session.
The Bruins, who  improved to 15-10-1, also got goals from Tim Schaller and David Backes.
“He’s (Pastrnak) been huge for us,” Backes said. “He’s been finding those areas again. And with his finish, his hands, his confidence, I wouldn’t want to be a goalie in there.”
Roberto Luongo took the loss, making 32 saves in the effort.
The Panthers are still struggling under interim head coach Tom Rowe and fell to 12-11-3 on the year.
Jaromir Jagr, Aleksander Barkov and Jason Demers scored for Florida.

“I thought Vinny Trocheck was by far the best guy on the ice period for both teams. You know that was the best defensive game I have ever seen him play and he was gritty, he was getting involved physically and creating scoring chances, Florida head coach Tom Rowe said after the game.
