SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Rampage (11-4-6-0) got goals from Andrew Agozzino and Joey Hishon, but fell to the Rockford IceHogs 4-2 in front of 6,769 at the AT&T Center Friday night.
Each of the Silver and Black’s goals were scored on the power-play, and San Antonio finished 2-for-5 with the man advantage.
Agozzino, who was playing in his first game since being reassigned to the Rampage on Monday, netted a power-play goal for the Rampage at the 6:16 mark of the opening frame, and San Antonio took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
Hishon and Mikko Rantanen connected on a give-and-go early in the second stanza, and Hishon converted to give the Silver and Black a 2-0 lead just four minutes in. The IceHogs scored four unanswered goals, starting with a Jake Dowell tally at the 5:36 mark of the second period. Goals from Ville Pokka and Ryan Hartman gave the IceHogs a 3-2 lead at the second intermission, and Bryan Bickell scored early in the third to secure a 4-2 win for Rockford.
The Rampage were outshot 32-22, and goalie Calvin Pickard finished with 28 saves on 32 shots.

The Rampage have now scored 18 goals on 82 chances with the man advantage. Their 22 percent conversion rate on the power play ranks fourth in the AHL.
