The top-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats are the top overall seed for the NCAA hockey tournament, and are joined as No. 1 seeds by St. Cloud State, North Dakota and Providence.
The Bobcats won the ECAC title Saturday in Lake Placid, defeating Harvard 4-1 and St. Cloud State won the NCHC title in Minneapolis 3-1 over Minnesota-Duluth. The other top seeds fell in their conference semifinals on Friday night.
Here are the pairings for this weekend’s regional semifinal l and finals. The winners of the East and Northeast regions will play in one national semifinal, while the West and Midwest winners will play in the other. The Frozen Four is in Tampa on April 7 and 9.
