Shawinigan head coach was furious after the game,” One goal with the talent we have in this locker room it is because we stayed in periphery,” said Shawinigan head coach Martin Bernard.
“After first period we only had three dangerous shots, after the second one we still had only three again. They have to go to the net they have to pay the price and put some effort. It wasn’t an excused,” answered the Cataractes head coach to a question related to a better team playing against lower team in the standing.
“We have to be ready to pay the price, I told them we have to have to go inside we have to drive the net that is where it is paying. We won’t score on shots coming from peripheral we will score on rebound it might be hard you could be slashed you could be hit that is the kind of things that might happen and it is there you have to pay the price to get a goal.” Ended Shawinigan head coach Bernard.
On Quebec side, Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher was really happy. “What we asked was the details, details that we have to apply and been proud, we saw it tonight,” Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher said after his team signed a second victory first one in five tried against the best team in the East division.
“We gave us notes after each periods and they were good. If we want to give us a chance, we saw it against one of good team in the league. We did great things in Victoriaville if we did crashed in third periods. It was good game we could have two wins on the road. We saw good things for long times it dolls we couldn’t prove it. It wasn’t that we would like to prove to you but we would like to prove to us guys could be proud of themselves veterans and young kids who played big game tonight.”
Quebec will return on the road playing their next two games with first stop in Rimouski on next Saturday. Next Sunday Quebec will be in Acadie-Bathurst facing the Titans.
