QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. —Trailing four times in the game, the Quebec Remparts scored the last two goals in third period coming from behind to register a 6-5 win against the Sherbrooke Phoenix. Taking the lead for the first time in the game in third period the second goal in the game by Matthew Boucher led Quebec to their second win over the weekend giving them their first perfect weekend in QMJHL 2015-16 regular season.
Four goals marks the initial in Palais des sports Leopold Drolet in Sherbrooke. Dominating first portion of the first period (8-3) in first seven minutes, Sherbrooke was the first team drawing the blood in Sunday afternoon game.
After first shot by former Quebec Remparts forward Guillaume Gauthier hit the board behind Quebec netminder the puck came right back on Vincent Deslauriers stick beating Callum Booth for first goal of the game at 10:17. 
Seeing his team trailing by one and dominated in shots on goal Quebec left winger Yanick Turcotte tried to wake his teammates up dropping his gloves against Mikael Sabourin. Getting the advantage in the fight the Quebec forward seem to reach his goal since his team tied the game in shorthanded situation.
Trying to kill a penalty to teammate Massimo Carozza Quebec took advantage of bad outing by Phoenix goaltender tying the score 1-1 on Matthew Boucher shorthanded goal. Boucher only had to put the puck in an empty net with Sherbrooke goaltender Alexandre Lagace didn’t had time to come back in his net. Boucher goal came at 15:19.
Sherbrooke regained the lead only 24 seconds later after Quebec goalie was unable to control a rebound following first shot by Phoenix defenseman Thomas Gregoire. Been on Quebec netminder right side Nicolas Poulin shot left no chance to Booth at 15:43.
Quebec replied with 14.6 seconds left in the first period tying the score 2-2. Making the first save on the long shot by Remparts defenseman Ross MacDougall Phoenix goaltender was unable to keep the rebound coming right on Zachary Moody stick in slot resulting in Quebec second goal in the game.
After both teams scored a total of four goals two on each side in first period, teams added two on each sides in second period.
Going 0-in-14 with man advantage since the beginning of the season and 0-in-1 in the game against Sherbrooke Quebec missed another great chance with man up being the beneficiary of a second power plays opportunity with only 35 seconds in, in middle frame.
Seeing their opponent coming back to tie the 2-2 with 14.6 seconds left on the clock in first period, Sherbrooke regained the leads for third times in the game 3-2 on second goals of the regular season by Julien Pelletier at 8:03 in middle frame on great play by Jan Dufek.
Traded to Sherbrooke during QMJHL summer entry draft veteran forward and former Remparts Guillaume Gauthier came to haunt his former team scoring Phoenix fourth goals in the game giving to Sherbrroke a two-goal lead for first time at 10:07 on a power play.
Getting two goals leads for first time in the game the home team saw their opponent coming back scoring nest two goals tying the score 4-4 after forty minutes of play. Reunited for first time by Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher the line of Massimo Carozza, Dmytro Timashov and Derek Gentile led to Quebec third goal the second of the regular season by Gentile.
After seeing the shot by Quebec defenseman Matt Murphy missing the net Timashov found teammate Gentile who only had to push the puck in net cutting Sherbrooke leads to only one goal at 17:52.
The visitor brought back both teams to square one with their fourth goals with 1:08 left in second periods. A backhanded shot by Olivier Garneau in the slot deflected on Phoenix defenseman Carl Neil before beating Sherbrooke netminder on his left side.
Trying to get out of his own zone Quebec veteran defenseman Matt Murphy mistake led to Sherbrooke fifth goals scored by Julien Pelletier his second of the game at 5:31 of third periods.
Trailing in the game for a fourth times Quebec pulled the triggers for next two goals to finally end their weekend with perfect record of two victories.
How many times you have been told by your coach you never know what could happened when you shot on net so take your chance when you got one an shot you might run a chance to score. That is exactly what Quebec defenseman Aaron Dutra did when his shot on goal deflected on Phoenix defenseman Thomas Gregoire before beating Sherbrooke netminder Lagace over his left shoulder tying the score 5-5 at 8:50.
Forechecking in offensive zone Quebec left winger Oliver Garneau found teammates Matthew Boucher beating Sherbrooke goaltender Lagace to his right side giving Quebec their first lead in the game. Boucher second goal of the game came at 16:03 and became the game winning goal giving Quebec the chance to end their weekend with their first perfect weekend cumulating two victories over Victoriaville on Friday and this one on Sunday.
Quebec will be home Thursday hosting the Rimouski Oceanic at the Videotron Center.
