After the game Drummondville head coach Martin Raymond was happy about his team effort in five against five. Maybe too many games in a row might be an explanations of his team result but he didn’t want to use it as an excused.
“We battle real hard it was our eight games in seventeen days with a young team, I like the way we fought, I didn’t like the way we loses our battles in one-on-one in third period. But this times it is our difficulties on the road.” Said the Voltigeurs head coach Martin Raymond.
“We have hard times to be consistent, we didn’t have the match-up we wanted so it came harder and there is moment in the game where we lose our fights our coverages and we were scored on. We don’t have a team that scores lots of goals we know it. We don’t have our power play it was very inconsistence. Yesterday we scored two goals today zero so our marge of error is very thin.”
At the end of the game, a disgraceful incident happened and players denunciated it after the game; notably Adam Erne.
“I don’t know he told different guys, we are best buddies outside the ice but it was pretty coward to jump on me,” said the author of two goals helping his team to seal victory against Drummondville as he talk about his former teammate Adam Chapman.
Talking about another hit he (Erne) did on Mathieu Sevigny, he said, “It was a pretty good hit I see they could be frustrated about what happened over the weekend but it wasn’t a good reason to jump on me referring to the jump he was victim of from his former teammates. You know stuff happens.”
For his part Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher preferred to talk about positive things that happens in the game instead of what happened at the end.

“We will try to keep the positive we will remember our great week. We have won hockey games maybe not the way we would like to. We have to give credit to Drummondville team they always were tough against us all year and it wasn’t different today.” The Quebec head coach said about his opponent.
“We have everything in a hockey game, we have things I will talk about other I won’t to. I’m satisfied about the week the way guys answered in third period. The consistency is a challenge for all junior team. So if we want to be a good hockey team and have success we will have to challenge us on that side.”
