Rattray’s patience pays off

Boston’s Jamie Lee Rattray freezes the Ottawa defense and opens up the net for a backhander. Rattray’s goal put Boston on the board first, and they held on for a 3-2 victory at Tsongas Center.

Boreen puts on a show
Montréal Victoire vs. Toronto Sceptres | Dec. 21, 2024 | Toronto, ON

Abby Boreen uses an elite pair of moves to skate by 2025 Defender of the Year Renata Fast on the way to a spectacular goal, getting the Victoire on the board. Montréal went on to a comeback 4-3 OT win on the road in Toronto.

We weren’t the only ones in awe of Boreen’s skill and speed, as ESPN later featured the highlight-reel goal on SportsCenter‘s Top 10 Plays

Montréal Victoire vs. Toronto Sceptres | Jan. 8, 2025 | Vancouver, BC

19,038 fans at Rogers Arena bore witness to an exceptional rebound goal from Marie-Philip Poulin, actively falling to her knees on the ice. The 2025 Billie Jean King MVP led the Victoire to a 4-2 win over the Sceptres on the second stop of the 2025 Takeover Tour.

Toronto’s Daryl Watts skates in off a drop-off pass from Hannah Miller and wraps it around for a dramatic overtime finish at Rogers Place, her second goal tally of the game.

The first “Michigan” goal in PWHL history came off the hands of Abby Roque – fittingly born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI – who lifted the puck up and around the corner to tuck it in past Ottawa’s Emerance Maschmeyer. New York cruised to a 4-1 victory over Minnesota as a record-breaking crowd at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena celebrated the league’s one-millionth fan milestone at PWHL Takeover Tour™ Detroit Presented by Ally.
