Predators push point streak to 11, down Columbus, 2-1 Predators are 10-0-1 in streak - Update to follow

In Columbus, Nashville’s Luke Evangelista snapped a 1-1 tie at 4:16 of the third period, in a Saturday matinee to give the Predators a 2-1 lead over the Blue Jackets, a lead they protected for the win by the same count. Kevin Lankinen made 33 saves in the Preds win.

Nashville improved to 37-25-3 off their 11th straight game with a point10-0-1.

Nashville took a 1-0 lead in the first period on a strike by Kiefer Sherwood at 12:19, scoring off a breakaway.

The Blue Jackets dropped to 22-32-10.

Columbus got even when Alexandre Texier  scored at 1:50 of the middle frame for a 1-0 tie headed into the third period.

Jason Zucker and Anthony Beauvillier debuted for the Predators, each picked up on the trade deadline.

Daniil Tarasov made 47 saves, matching a career NHL high, in the loss.
