In Los Angeles, the Nashville Predators turned a tight 2-1 advantage into a 4-1 win with two empty-net goals in the third period.
Colton Sissons hit for the first of the empty-netters at 17:00.
Jeremy Lauzon scored the second with 53 seconds left on the game clock for the 4-*1 final.
“Just committed efforts up and down the lineup,” Sissons said. “We’re rolling everybody. Everybody’s having a positive impact. Hopefully we can keep this momentum.”
Juuse Saros made 27 saves in the win.
“He’s been playing really well lately and got some confidence, got some of his swagger back,” Sissons said of Saros, who has won consecutive starts for the first time since winning six straight from Dec. 3-16
The Predators improved to 30-25-2.

Nashville took a 1-0 lead in the first period on a marker form Yakov Trenin at 8:47.
Kevin Fiala was the lone striker for the Kings. his goal came with 53 seconds left in the first period to tie the game, 1-1.
The Kings dropped to 28-17-10, ending a four-game streak.
“Give them credit, they made it difficult,” Los Angeles interim coach Jim Hiller said. “And so your execution has to be even a little bit better when you’re playing a team that checks you that well, and ours wasn’t, so that made it doubly hard.”
Nashville reclaimed the lead, 2-1, when Mark Jankowski put scored at 14:46 of the middle frame.
David Rittich made 19 saves in the tough luck loss.
“It was just throw the puck at the net and win a battle at the net, so it was that type of game,” Hiller said.
