ST CATHERINES, ONT – The Professional Hockey Players Association (PHPA) announced on its web site Tuesday that it has called for a strike against the Central Hockey League. The move is effective immediately.
The strike call apparently follows months of inaction on Standard Player Contract submitted to the CHL offices in Arizona in May of this year.
