PITTSBURGH – Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final was a tight affair right up to the third period when the Pittsburgh Penguins broke it open with the power play.
Tied 1-1 heading to the final 20 minutes, the Nashville Predators were in a good position to think they might tie the series heading home.
But a series of penalties that the Penguins capitalized on the game ended up a loss for the Preds, 4-1, and a 0-2 series deficit.
The Stanley Cup now heads to Nashville for Games 3 and 4.
