CHARLOTTE, NC – The Charlotte Checkers had a difficult 2014-15 AHL season. After a slow start they found themselves at or near the bottom of the ladder.
An inconsistent offense and young defense combined with call-ups to the Carolina Hurricanes left the club hamstrung.
The Checkers open their training camp this coming week as players are released from the ‘Canes’ camp.
