The balance of the game swung through the opening two periods with the visitors taking the lead through a Brandon Ayliffe breakaway goal at 11.02 but Ryan Webb put home a rebound at 13.45 to level the game.

Bees went ahead at 26.17 when Webb scored his second, this one a delayed penalty goal but a shot from Ross Connolly at the blue line beat Adam Goss just 18 seconds later to equalise at 2-2.

Both teams enjoyed spells of pressure in the final period but Raiders broke the deadlock at 50.24 to go ahead 2-3 thanks to Jake Sylvester. Bees pulled Adam Goss for the final minute of the game and took a time out but couldn’t find an equaliser and the visitors took the points.
