SHEFFIELD, UK – The Manchester Storm paid a visit to Sheffield and could not solve Matt Climie in the Steelers’ net.
Climie made 25 saves en route to a 4-1 win over the Storm.
Josh Pits, Jonas Westerling, Mark Matheson, and Della Rovere scored for the home side Steelers.
Evan Richardson scored the lone goal for the Manchester side.
Storm netminder, Matt Ginn, and Climie were both named as man of the match recipients for their efforts on the night.
Dane Byers and Linden Springer were ejected in the third period after tempers flaired and the two engaged in a spirited tussle.
