SHEFFIELD, UK – The Cardiff Capitals paid a visit to the Steelers this weekend and were sent home with an 11-2 loss.
This one was over quickly as the Steelers posted two goals within the first minute of play and never looked back in the rout.
The scoring in the opening frame continued with the Sheffield side posting a 5-0 lead after the first 20 minutes of play.
The loss continued a disappointing season for the Caps.
For Sheffield, the win pushed them into the third position in the ladder and they appear poised to keep the spot as the regular season nears its end.
