SHEFFIELD, UK – An outmanned and outgunned Nottingham Panthers squad was routed by the Sheffield Steelers Saturday night 8-1.
Two goals, 25 seconds apart, midway through the first period ended any doubt about this match as the Steelers made quick work of the Panthers.
With seemingly little emotion for the match, the Panthers were lackluster in all phases of the game.
While the Panthers were listless, the Steelers poured it on at every opportunity.
Brad Moran was the lone Panthers goal scorer with last second marker to spoil the shutout.
