PHN’s Best Shots of the Game: Steelers edge Guildford, 3-2

SHEFFIELD, UK – Goals from Andreas Jamtin, Levi Nelson and a game winner from Eric Neiley secured the points for the Steelers on Saturday evening against the Guildford Flames.

On a night when the Steelers welcomed home Freddie Vestberg – what a welcome home he received.

Steelers took a first period lead when Andreas Jamtin beat Brian Stewart at 16.27

With Levi Nelson off for slashing Ian Watters scored the equalising goal 65 seconds remaining in the first period.

The Flames stunned the Steelers at the start of the second period when John Dunbar netted 32 second in to give Guildford the lead.

Levi Nelson squared the game at 32.43 with Matheson and Ronnberg assisting.

Into the 3rd period and there was chances at either end.

Play of the night came in the 53th minute when Westerling made an inch perfect pass to Eric Neiley who went high on Brian Stewart for the game winner.
