SHEFFIELD, UK – The Sheffield Steelers continued on their recent run of good play and wins with a convincing 3-1 win over the Manchester Storm Saturday.
Sheffield took a quick 2-0 lead on goals from Robert Dowd and Guillaume Desbiens.
After 20 minutes, the Steelers’ Mathieu Roy extended the lead to 3-0.
The Storm broke through on the power play in the third to spoil the shutout bid by  Ervins Mustukovs.
