TSI World Bracknell Bees 4 Leeds Chiefs 3
Back on home ice an already short benched Bees team were now also without Aidan Doughty, added to the list of injured players, but did manage to add Josh Ealey-Newman and Casey Wilson to the line-up. It was Roman Malinik that opened the scoring with his wrist shot being too powerful for Miles Finney in the Chiefs net and set the score to 1-0 at 4.16. At 7.46 Bees doubled their lead when Josh Ealey-Newman buried a powerplay chance but Radel Meidl scored at 11.43 to reduce the visitors’ deficit.

The second period played out similar to the first period with the Bees adding to their advantage thanks to a second 2-1 period. Zack Milton scored at 34.23 and Ryan Webb’s speed outdid the Chiefs defence at 37.20 but in between the two Bees goals Chiefs kept themselves in the game thanks to Meidl’s second at 36.01.

Bees looked to close out the game in the third period but Chiefs fought back and made the final 4.01 interesting with their third goal at 55.59 from James Archer. Despite this Bees closed out for the win, remaining undefeated on home ice in the regular season so far.
