PHN’s Best Shots of the Game: Sheffield get back on track with win over Stars

SHEFFIELD, UK – A four-goal outburst by the Dundee Stars in the middle frame was not enough to outlast the Sheffield Steelers Saturday.

The Steelers’ balanced attack helped Sheffield edge out the Stars, 5-4.

The win helped the Steelers put the distaste of last weekend’s losses to the Belfast Giants in the rear view mirror.

Levi Nelson potted the game-winner in the closing stages of the third period when he broke a 4-4 tie.

Ervins Mustukovs picked up the win on 21 saves.

Mathieu Roy struck twice for the Steelers in the win and Kevin Bruijsten scored two goals for the Stars.

Craig Holland took the loss in relief, he made 28 saves on 31 shots.  Joe Fallon got the start and yielded two goals on 13 shots.
