WINSTON-SALEM, NC: In the second quarterfinal game of the day in the ACCHL tournament, it was the # 1 seed N C State University Icepack shutting out the 8th seeded UNC Charlotte 49ers 16-0. The Icepack scored four goals in the first period and six goals in both the second and third periods.

Icepack goalie Josh Cannon stopped all 31 shots he faced. The 49er’s tandem of Fred Beaulieau and Colin Smith made 40 saves on 56 shots.
