MELBOURNE, Australia – The Melbourne Mustangs got goals from four different skaters Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Sydney Ice Bears.
Vadim Virjassov , Sean Jones , Corey Banfield, and Joseph Hughes scored for the Mustangs.
Michael Schlamp scored for the Bears in the third to give Sydney a chance when they cut the deficit to 2-1.
Kamil Jarina took the loss for Sydney but was busy in facing 59 shots total, making 55 saves.
Jack Hayes got the win for Melbourne with 31 saves on 32 shots.
