SHEFFIELD, UK – The Sheffield Steelers took a 1-0 first period lead in their match with MK Lighting this past weekend and then added two more in the middle frame to take a 3-1 lead into the final period.
The Lightning only had a single marker, in the second period, as a push back against the Steelers’ offense.
Kyle Essery had the lone strike for the Lightning.
Three more Sheffield goals in the third period put the game away with a 6-1 final.
The Lightning play the Dundee Stars this weekend.
