PHN’s Best Shots of the Game: Icemen rout Solar Bears

JACKSONVILLE, FLA – After being down two goals in the first period, the Icemen come back to score six unanswered goals in the second win of the season on Friday, October 19th.

Orlando held a 2-0 lead after one period as Michael Brodzinski netted his first goal of the season and Hunter Fejes scored in the final minute of play.

The Icemen turned up the heat in the second period, scoring three times. Alexis D’Aoust started things at the 6:03 mark. Jacksonville’s special teams then kicked in with power play goals from Garret Cockerill at 9:12 and Everett Clark at 19:02 to give the Icemen a 3-2 lead heading into the final period.

Wacey Rabbit scored the Icemen’s third consecutive power play goal 27 seconds into the third and the rout was on. Cody Fowlie extended the lead with a goal at 11:57 before D’Aoust finished things off with his second of the night at 19:49.

Goalie Mikhail Berdin was solid in net, making 23 saves to post the win.
