JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen dropped the Atlanta Gladiators 2-1 Wednesday night in front of 5,723 fans at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.
Luke Lynch scored on the powerplay 3:13 into the game and Ara Nazarian added the game-winner at 19:06 of the second period. Francois Brassard stopped 27-shots while posting his second post-season win.
The third-seeded Icemen can close out the second-seeded Gladiators on Thursday night in Jacksonville.
