MELBOURNE, Australia – The Melbourne Ice hosted the Sydney IceDogs Sunday in a tune-up for the AIHL post season.
Behind a 37-shot effort the Ice prevailed with a 4-1 win.  
Matt Armstrong two goals, one in each of the first two periods to provide all the offense the Ice would need.
Strat Allen had the lone IceDogs goal when he scored at 13:36 of the second to tie the game at one all.
Chris Yule and Lasse Lassen scored in the third period to salt the game away.
Jaden Pine-Murphy got the win on 26 saves and Charlie Smart took the loss on 33 saves.
