ROSEMONT, Ill The Chicago Wolves ( 30-31-5-3) came out with full force over the visiting Rockford Icehogs (36-19-5-4) at the Allstate Arena on a rainy evening.

Chicago Wolves goaltender Jordan Binnington had a tally of 35 saves, however that did not stop Rockford from earning a win in this match up. Rockford Icehogs Right wing Ryan Haggerty, scored a powerplay goal with 5:58 left in the third period to give Rockford the lonely goal. This would give Rockford a 7-5 record against the Wolves this season in a 12 game series this season.

The Wolves fired 12 shots on Rockford goaltender Mac Carruth in first 10 opening minutes, but Rockford would finish the game with 23, giving Carruth his second shutout of his American Hockey League career.

The Wolves will host the Lake Erie Monsters at 7:00 P.M Friday and Saturday to top off their Spring Break week.
