Liam Coughlin played a pivotal role, scoring the go-ahead goal with just 12 minutes remaining in the game. Assisted by Vincent de Mey, Coughlin executed a precise shot from the left circle, beating Gage Alexander for his fourth goal of the season.

Despite Tulsa taking an early lead, Iowa quickly responded, with Nick Campoli netting the equalizer only 23 seconds after the opening goal.
