HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Havoc score two in the second and third but are unable to complete the comeback in the final minute of regulation and fall this afternoon at home against the Peoria Rivermen; 5-4.

Peoria registered two in the first fifty-five seconds to take the early lead.

But in the second, a period in which the Havoc are outscoring the Rivermen 9-1 in the middle frame, Huntsville came back with vengeance and scored two of their own. The first came at 3:36 by Lou Educate with assists coming to Christian Powers and Stuart Stefan. Fifty seconds later, Michael Piluso potted home an unassisted goal at 4:26 into the second to tie the game at two.

In back and forth game, the Rivermen came back with two of their own in the middle frame. Their first came at 7:59 while the second hit the back of the net at 11:39.

In the third, Peoria extended their lead to three with Dakota Klecha’s second of the night at 6:58. But the Havoc beared down and late in the game with a shorthanded opportunity, and the extra attacker on the ice, Educate scored his second of the game. Huntsville now within two, and once again the extra attacker on the ice, continued to buzz inside the offensive zone. A pass from Educate sent to the goal-mouth was tapped in by Scott Fellnermayr for his second in as many nights and the Havoc were now within one.

But ultimately, the Havoc were unable to complete the comeback in the dying seconds of the third and fell to the Rivermen.
