After a dismal first period where the Brantford Blast took a 4-1 lead over the Stoney Creek, the Generals responded to an intermission reset and scored nine goals in a 10-7 win.
Nathan Pageau completed his hat trick in the third period on a shorthanded goal to help the Generals rally in the second and third periods. He added a fourth goal in the final frame.
Anthony Marshall took the loss on 37 saves for the Blast; Dave Brown faced 37 shots and stopped 30 for the win.
Chris Rebernik struck for two goals for the Blast.
