PHILADELPHIA – After forcing overtime in the 15th minute of the third period, the Flyers dropped their match with the New York Islanders when Anthony Beauvillier scored with just 22 seconds gone in extra time, 3-2. 
The Flyers’ Maksim Sushko had scored at 14:30 of the third to tie the game, 2-2.
Cory Schneider started for the Isles and made 10 saves on 11 shots. Kenneth Appleby made 15 saves through the back half of the game.
Noah Dobson and Adam Pelech scored for New York in regulation.
Carter Hart gave up one goal on 18 shots through 40 minutes of play. Samuel Ersson made nine saves.
