The Isles do not play again until January 27.

Nikolay Kulemin had two goals, including a shortie, and three points for the afternoon’s work.

The Flyers scored four goals for themselves, an offensive effort they have been capable of lately. But the defense was absent.

There was far too much standing around in the slot and crease area with stick-waving at Islanders.

New York used its size and speed to dominate the Flyers. They chased AHL call-up Rob Zepp after gaining a 4-1 lead in the second. He was replaced by Ray Emery.
