COLUMBUS, GA – Sean Bonar recorded his fourth shutout of the Southern Professional Hockey League season as Fayetteville edged Columbus 1-0 on Saturday night.
Joe Harcharik’s second-period power-play goal was the difference as the FireAntz improved to 25-13-2. Fayetteville cashed in on a high-sticking penalty on Columbus’ Brandon Fehd, and Joe Kalisz and Kristaps Nimanis earned the assists on Harcharik’s 10th goal of the season.
Bonar started in net for the 26th consecutive game and turned aside all 26 Cottonmouths shots. He is now 23-12-0-1 on the season.
