PHN’s Best Shots of the Game: Dashers shoot their way to a 3-1 win

ND3_2552~2DANVILLE,IL – The Dashers avenged their Saturday night first loss of the season as they beat the Dayton Demolition on Sunday in Danville.

Danville’s’ fast pace was too much for Dayton to overcome, as the Dashers grossly out-shot the Demolition 41-21.    Daniel Turgeon led the way for the Dashers with 6 shots on goal, and Brent Clark added 5 of his own.  Turgeon and Clark both scored, and Justin Brausen also added a goal for Danville.  Matt Anthony picked up the win for the Dashers after putting in a solid night of work, turning away 20 of the 21 shots he faced.  Bryan Haude got the loss for Dayton even though he played a solid game.

Martin Unnak picked up the lone Dayton goal after the Demolition caught Danville in a bad change.  The Dashers had 30 PIM on 8 infractions, compared to the Demolition’s 16 minutes on 5 penalties.

The Danville Dashers are next in action on Wednesday Nov. 25th against the Port Huron Prowlers at the David S. Palmer arena in Danville.ND3_2545~2
