The Steel City Warriors came to Danville on Friday night to take on the Dashers. The Dashers came into the game riding a 9 game win streak, they pushed it to 10 games tonight against Steel City. The Dashers started quick and got on the board off a power play goal from Andrew Harrison. Justin Levac, Gehrett Sargis, and Joe Pace scored the next 3 goals for the
Dashers respectively. The Dashers lead 4-0 after the first period.
Aleh Shypitsyn converted on a breakaway about five minutes into the period to put the Dashers up 5-0. Then, Andrew Harrison scored his second goal of the contest to shoot Danville to a 6-0 lead. Just after the Harrison goal, the Dashers found themselves on the penalty kill. However, this didn’t stop the offense of Danville. Dan Turgeon scored on a quick wrist shot and made it 7-0. That 7-0 score would hold up to be the final score of the night. The Dashers are back in action tomorrow night against the Berkshire Battalion
