COLUMBUS, GA – The Mayhem’s comeback on Saturday night came up short, as they fell to the Columbus Cottonmouths 4-3 on a goal in the final minutes.
Macon trailed 3-1 in the third period, but they tied the game up with goals from Jake Trask and Stathis Soumelidis. Cottonmouths forward Chad Brears scored at the 16:04 mark in the third period to give the Snakes the win.
Stephen Pierog was the only player to tally multiple points in the game for the Mayhem – recording two assists.
