PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Flyers could not find a consistent offense on Thursday night as they welcomed the Boston Bruins for a preseason tilt.
On the other hand, the Bruins were consistent in posting a goal in each period in a 3-1 win.

After the Bruins broke the ice in the first period, Matt Niskanen knotted the game at 1-1 for the Flyers.
Jaroslav Halak got the start for the Bruins and made 16 saves and allowed the lone Flyers goal
Maxime Lagace entered the game in the third period and made six saves.
Brian Elliot surrendered two goals on 24 shots through 40 minutes of play.
Alex Lyon made nine saves on 10 shots in the final frame.
