Columbus, Ge – At the Columbus Civic Center this weekend, the Auburn University Tigers broke open a tight game with the University of Florida Gaters in the second period with three-straight goals.

Entering the middle frame, the Tigers held a slim 3-2 lead after the two clubs traded goals in the first period.

Chandler Brown led the way for Auburn with a four-goal effort.

Neither team had success on the power play with Florida going scoreless in five advantages and Auburn failed on four chances.

The defenses for both squads finally clamped down in the third period with each team potting a single marker.

Auburn took the two points on the strength of the 7-4 decision.
