Columbus, Ga – The weekend set for the Auburn War University hockey team closed with a close match with Ole Miss in Columbus.
It took extra time but the War Eagle rally cry was heard when Adam Kalson potted the game-winner for a 4-3 win.
Andrew Hagerty got the teams tied midway through the third period to knot the score at 3-3.
Kalson also scored in regulation for Auburn.
The win got Auburn back to .500 hockey at 2-2-0 after opening the season with two loses in Alabama.
