David Makowski had three helpers, while Eric Roy had a goal and an assist to reach 25 points in his rookie season.

“We played a solid game,” said Americans defenseman David Makowski following the 5-2 victory. “This was more like it offensively for us. With some of our injured players due to come back soon we might be hitting our groove at just the right time.”
