DENVER – Episode 146 of the PHN Podcast dropped overnight.

There was not the weekly producer’s rant, more of an update on a new acquisition.

With the American Hockey League and United Kingdom’s Elite Ice Hockey League shuttered for the off-season, we had time to focus on a the ECHL playoffs.

And as you might expect, pushed  much of our talk to the National Hockey League Stanley Cup Playoffs and predictions.

We discussed the playoffs to date, and the semifinals series starting up this Sunday.

There was near unanimity on the predictions, and would have been, had not one of us decided to be the proverbial fly in the Ben-Gay.

Someone on the second line decoded to pick the New York Islanders to defeat the Tampa Bay Lighting.

The Vegas Golden Knights were the consensus pick on the other side.

Where the episode got interesting was the prediction for the Hart Trophy this season.  Again, someone decided that Connor McDavid was not MVP material.  A robust discussion ensued.In any case, this episode is available for download, and ratings.
