WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON, Pa – The Hershey Bears and Penguins mixed it up in the first round of the AHL Calder Cup playoffs this year. The Pens had put a stranglehold on the series but the Bears came back to force a decisive game five in Wilkes-Barre.
The Penguins eliminated the Bears by a 2-1 score and now move on to face the St John’s IceCaps in a best-of-seven second round series.
