PHN Mock NHL Entry Draft: Buffalo Sabres Second Pick

BUFFALO, N.Y. – With defense already taken by the Sabres in our mock draft, the Buffalo Sabres turn their attention to offense, and if things go the way we think they will the Sabres will be thrilled.

Joshua Bailey (center) from the Windsor Spitfires and Zac Delpe (center/right wing) are still sitting there for the Sabres. Bailey has progressed in every season while in the OHL, and has the look of someone who could play in Buffalo. Delpe has put up some solid numbers, but at lower level competition. If Bailey were not on the board Delpe would most definitely get the call when the Sabres pick.

Either way the Sabres go, you can bet it will be applauded by General Manager Darcy Regier and the rest of the Sabres brass in Ottawa.
